Installation Notes

  • Insert the CC-PFB401 module carefully onto its matching 6-inch non-redundant (CC-TFB401) or 12-inch redundant (CC-TFB411) Series C IOTA block interface.
  • Verify that external Foundation Fieldbus H1 power conditioners are connected downstream on the IOTA loops to properly bias the 31.25 Kbps network lines.
  • Ensure that correct H1 bus terminators (two 100 Ω resistors in series with a 1 µF capacitor) are active at both physical extremities of each H1 link wire segment to maintain adequate signal amplitude.
  • Confirm that the module's target redundancy matching configuration is established inside the Experion Control Builder topology prior to completing firmware downloads.
