The CM202 (Part Number: 00012160-00) is a dual-CAN communication module for the Bachmann M1 automation system, providing two independent CAN interfaces. It supports CANopen, DeviceNet, and J1939, enabling connection to decentralized peripherals, redundant networks, or mixed device types.

The module is fully configurable via Bachmann SolutionCenter and includes real-time telegram logging and diagnostics, allowing network troubleshooting without external analyzers.

No. The CM202 supports Classic CAN up to 1 Mbit/s. CAN FD applications require newer M1 processors with integrated CAN FD support.
