Product Description

The FS211/N (Part Number: 00012201-00) is a FASTBUS slave interface for the Bachmann M1 system, enabling remote I/O substations with real-time data exchange and low latency. It includes an integrated 100 W power supply, allowing the module to independently power all local I/O cards, eliminating the need for an additional power module.

The FS211/N supports cable runs up to 200 meters with HCS fiber or high-quality copper, making it ideal for distributed automation in large-scale industrial, wind energy, and maritime applications.

FAQ

Does the FS211/N require a separate NT power supply?
No. The module’s integrated 100 W PSU powers the local backplane if connected I/O modules stay within the 100 W limit.

Can I use standard CAT5 cables for long runs?
Bachmann recommends HCS or high-grade copper for maximum distance and EMI immunity. Shorter runs may use standard copper but should follow FASTBUS installation guidelines.
