No. The 900G01-0102 is a contact closure module that provides its own 15 VDC excitation. Connecting an externally powered device will damage the module or produce erratic readings. Use the 900G02-0001 or 900G02-0202 for 24 VDC powered sensors.
What types of switches work with this module?
Any dry contact device including mechanical pushbuttons, limit switches, relay contacts, and selector switches is compatible. The switch must be able to close a loop carrying 2.6 mA at 15 VDC.
