Overview

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL240 is a 16-point AC discrete input module for the Series 90-30 PLC platform. It is designed to monitor 120 VAC field signals from devices such as limit switches, pushbuttons, selector switches, relay contacts, and other AC control signals.

The IC693MDL240 provides optically isolated inputs with integrated filtering for noise suppression and stable signal detection in electrically harsh industrial environments. Each input point includes a dedicated LED indicator for real-time status monitoring. Although discontinued by the manufacturer, this module remains widely deployed in legacy Series 90-30 systems.
