The MVI56E-MCMR Enhanced Modbus Master/Slave Communication Module is designed by ProSoft Technology to provide ControlLogix processors with advanced Modbus protocol support. Backward-compatible with the earlier MVI56-MCM, this single-slot module integrates seamlessly into 1756 ControlLogix backplanes. It features Ethernet connectivity for configuration and diagnostics, user-definable memory mapping, and a scrolling alphanumeric LED display for real-time status and error information.

With support for RIUP (Remove and Insert Under Power), robust shock and vibration resistance, and extended operating temperature ranges in the XT version, the MVI56E-MCMR is engineered for reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
