Installation Guide

1. Install the 4353 into a communication slot in the Tricon chassis.
2. Connect primary and backup Ethernet cables to the two RJ-45 ports. Note that NET 2 supports 100 Mbps only.
3. Configure IP addresses, subnet masks, and protocol settings in TriStation 1131.
4. For Modbus TCP/IP: configure the 4353 as Master or Slave, map holding registers and coil addresses to Tricon internal variables.
5. For OPC: enable the embedded OPC server and configure DCOM security settings for client connections.
6. For redundant time synchronization: configure both TCM modules (left and right slots) if installed in a redundant network.
