The 9905-976 (Model: 9905-976) is a high-integrity digital overspeed protection system designed for the most critical turbine safety applications. Part of the Woodward ProTech-GII family, this panel provides independent, high-speed monitoring for gas, steam, and hydro turbines, as well as large industrial compressors. The 9905-976 (Part Number: 9905-976) utilizes a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture, featuring three independent CPUs and three separate magnetic pickup (MPU) inputs to ensure mission-critical reliability.

Configured for De-Energize-to-Trip (DET) operation, the 9905-976 (ProTech-GII: 9905-976) ensures fail-safe performance; the trip relays are normally energized during operation and will de-energize to trigger a shutdown in the event of an overspeed condition, hardware fault, or loss of control power. With a response time of less than 12 ms, it offers authoritative protection against catastrophic mechanical failure, making it a standard choice for power generation and oil & gas facilities requiring SIL-rated safety performance.
