The 140CPU67160 (Part Number: 140CPU67160) is a high-availability Unity processor designed for the Modicon Quantum automation platform. Engineered for mission-critical applications where downtime is unacceptable, this CPU features built-in Hot Standby (HSBY) and multimode Ethernet connectivity. Operating at a 266 MHz clock frequency, it provides the performance needed for large-scale distributed architectures and high-speed process control.

Multiple communication ports on the front panel allow simultaneous connection to Modbus, Modbus Plus, and Ethernet networks, while the fiber optic interface ensures rapid synchronization between primary and standby controllers for bumpless transfer in case of system faults.
