Overview

The Emerson A6120 is a dual-channel absolute shaft vibration monitor module designed for the AMS 6500 Machinery Health System. It measures absolute vibration using seismic velocity or acceleration sensors, providing essential data for turbine, compressor, pump, and motor protection.

Unlike relative vibration monitors such as the A6110, the A6120 focuses on absolute vibration measurement, making it ideal for monitoring casing or bearing housing vibrations to detect imbalance, misalignment, or mechanical faults.
