Installation Guide

1. Install the IC695CEP001 CEP Carrier first.
2. Attach the IC694CEE001 Expansion Carrier to the right side of the CEP001 Carrier.
3. Insert one compatible RX3i IC694 I/O module into the expansion carrier slot.
4. Ensure secure mechanical connection and proper alignment.
5. Configure the expanded node in Proficy Machine Edition as part of the PROFINET network.

Selection Guidelines

• Use IC694CEE001 when a remote PROFINET node requires two I/O modules instead of one.
• Verify that the selected I/O modules are supported by the IC695CEP001 (refer to compatibility lists in the RX3i CEP Carrier documentation).
• Confirm total I/O data volume does not exceed the 1024-byte limit per station.
