Unlike traditional mechanical governors, the 8237-1369 (Part Number: 8237-1369) utilizes a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture to process speed signals from three independent magnetic pickups (MPUs). This 2-out-of-3 (2oo3) voting logic ensures that a single sensor or internal component failure will not cause a nuisance trip or, more critically, fail to trip during an actual overspeed event.
